“ Awesome first date lunch. He's vegetarian and we spent the morning at Forrest Park. It was super cold so we split a hearty vegetable stew and a tempeh Ruben. We talked for a long time and the wait staff was gracious. Wonderful experience! ”
“ This is by far one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the US. I also have to stop by when i am in town. Highly recommend the Reuben but you cannot go wrong with any of their pizzas. My only negative is that they don't have enough indoor seating. ”
“ This place is an oasis in a world of unhealthy mass produced food. I've lost track of the number of delicious meals I've enjoyed here. I've yet to be disappointed. Even with the recent ownership change they are still keeping it real. The butternut squash pizza was Devine. The hummus plate was so fresh. I can't imagine anything on their menu disappointing. Great service and cozy atmosphere. ”
“ It's been many months since I've been to Seedz Cafe..and I still think about it! My first time to St. Louis, first time to Missouri. I like to be able to visit at least one all vegan restaurant wherever I travel. My non vegan friend was open to going. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was so good! My friend ordered a tofu curry and rice dish. He enjoyed the tofu and rice, the curry not so much. I took the curry home for a snack later. I had bought some microwavable rice. Later while he was visiting his family, I heated up the leftover curry with store bought rice. The curry was so good! Not sure if I will ever be back to St. Louis, but if I find myself there, you can be sure I will be returning to Seedz Cafe! ”
“ I arrived early on a Saturday morning, before the rush of customers. I was able to find a place to park that wasn't too far. There were multiple tables outside - the day was perfect for outside dining! I was greeted upon entering. I chose the Mediterranean salad, and I enjoyed it so much! It was loaded with goodness - chickpeas, spring mix, pepperoncini, i love getting multiple pepperoncini in a salad! Every bite was outstanding! I splurged and tried a cookie that looked like a Girl Scout Samoa, and it was delicious! The vibe inside is chill, the staff is super friendly, and each visit to Seedz is better than the last! A true gem in CWE! ”
“ It's hard to find vegetarian breakfast in STL that's not super basic so I was excited to try Seedz. It's a small place with a row of tables but even so, my partner and I were able to find a table quickly. I would NOT recommend for a group of people - 2-4 max. Cute place nonetheless and staff was quite welcoming. It's an order at the counter situation, get a number and food is brought to you table. Food came out in the perfect amount of time. I got the "eggs benefit" which was yummy, it used tempeh bacon. I was a little sad that the tempeh did not seem house-made, I'm sure it was Lightlife brand. The biscuit was good though a little dry. I tried my partner's gravy that came with his dish and it was very good. I was not really into the potatoes because they were a little plain and not crispy. We got french toast for dessert and that was very good. It was actually a lot of food, we ordered more than we usually do thinking it would not be filling but it was PLENTY! Good portion sizes. All the food was beautifully plated and made for some great food pics. It's also neat that they have a provisions shop/cafe next door though again I was wishing there were more house-made items there. I'd go back if I had a vegan to take out to breakfast! ”
“ Ok Seedz!!! The Ruben and the potato wedges with the spicy ketchup is off the chain. Complimentary flavors are unbelievable. I will be back for seconds soon. Ça c'est bon! ”
“ On St Paddy's Day I had to get a Rueben Sandwich and Seedz was my first choice. I absolutely love this restaurant. It is definitely in my top choices of vegan restaurants in the St Louis area. First time going on a Sunday and was relieved the sandwich is in the brunch menu. Food was wonderful as expected. Service was quick even though they were packed for Sunday a 1pm. The only thing I wish is this place had parking. I usually am parking on a side street several blocks away. ”
“ Great location, small and quaint cafe, quick service and attention to our vegan food questions! Food is plated beautifully and the flavors are amazing! We ordered the Malibu Melt with potato wedges and the Ranchero Tostado Bowl. All were so good! Nothing left on the plate. The vegan sauces add to the exceptional taste! Fresh made desserts are Fabulous! ”
“ Went for lunch today with my sister and dad. It's a charming vegan cafe and the service was great! It was quiet when we came at 11:30 but things really picked up as we ate. It's on the small side and tables are fairly close together. I ordered the tempeh Reuben. Others got the veggie burger and one of the bowls. The Rueben was solid. Very flavorful. I loved the punch of mustard. I couldn't really taste any cheese flavor but I'm from Wisconsin so vegan cheese will always be... subpar for me. That being said I'd definitely recommend the sandwich. It's a 17$ sandwich and comes with a side salad or fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the dressing on the salad- heavy on the tahini for me. However my dad loved it. I wish they gave free refills on the iced tea for 3$ but I get it. All the food was very fresh. Solid tomatoes. Everyone enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. ”
